I had a productive night of sewing last night. Woo-hoo!!
I made this block for the November Simply Solids swap. I cannot pick up the true colour in this photo. It is much lighter than it appears and the colour is much more green/aqua.
I made these two setting triangles for Easy Street. I am getting excited! I only have three more blocks to make and then I can start putting Easy Street together!
I finished sewing together this piece of the flower ball.
And I got one completed leader and ender block out of the evening. Pinwheels are my leaders and enders right now. Isn’t the baby loon cute.
How did your Friday Night Sew In go?
Janet

ReplyDeleteHi Janet, nice to meet you. I found you through Fignie :) I did Easy Street and am anxiously awaiting Celtic Solstice. Love Bonnie's mysteries. I have enjoyed your site :0
ReplyDeleteI've seen that simply solids block in a few places now and its very appealing. Looks great in any colour. Your hexagon ball is most unique , haven't seen anything like it.
ReplyDeleteLove to catch up more quilters who love to hunt and ear moose meat!!!
ReplyDeleteAnd I've found another hexie nut! I took a quick look at your opening page here and love your quilts, do you do any crazy quilting? I'm hosting a Crazy Quilt Along 2014, go to this URL for more info:

Since a summer camping trip to your part of the country in 2012 I have been visiting your blog to get another taste of your country. Our trip was one of a lifetime but that does not mean we will not be returning. Your moose hunt was much more successful than ours here in northern Manitoba this year. Love your EPP flower ball. I rediscovered EPP a couple of years ago. When I was younger I was too impatient. Now I enjoy every moment hand piecing.
ReplyDeleteI love the flower ball, it's on my to do list. Nothing happening tonight recovering from dental surgery can't operate any machinery. LOL
