I am having a heck of a time getting any sewing done. Maybe it’s because I’m too busy doing other things. Like working. Or spending my day off going to the recently reopened coffee shop…the dogs couldn’t understand why they had to wait outside…
And skiing down the lake… We saw 27 or more of these birds…
Trumpeter swans… We also saw three otters and two mountain goats but they weren’t close enough for photos. We straggled home at the end of about four hours out… but we did get a tea break in there.
Yesterday I did manage to get a bit of hand stitching done by tackling it at every opportunity… I managed to finish the pathway on one flower for the Grandmother’s Flower Garden and I can now join it onto the three that I have sewn together already…
Don’t you love all the movement in this flower? I do!
I have a goal to make the strip be six flowers long by next Monday. Will I accomplish it? Tune back in next week for an update.
Janet

Just right ... the snow outside and the garden growing inside!
ReplyDeleteIt sounds like you had a great time running around and enjoying the day. Your hexie project is moving right along. You'll be finished before long.
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful view to see while you're skiing! Thanks for sharing the photos with us. Enjoy your hexies.
ReplyDeletewell I can relate to being unable to get any sewing done! I am so busy enjoying my backyard and my genealogy research that I just haven't been able to make it to the sewing room! Well I did go up there and vacuum up and organize from my last sewing stint.....(why do I make such a mess with every project I tackle???)
ReplyDeletewhat lovely photos you shared.....thank you!
Not sewing, but having some good times! Beautiful pics!
ReplyDeletelove the pictures... you have snow but not so much that you are unable to enjoy it... keep on skiing.. the sewing will still be there waiting for you
