Quilter’s Bog Hop Party Giveaway

The giveaway is closed.

Welcome to everyone hopping around in blog land for the Quilting Gallery Quilter's Blog Hop Party and my giveaway. A huge thank you to Michele for organizing this event.  I hear there are more than 250 participating blogs so it is sure to be a barrel of fun – and take lots of time to look at all those blogs. Smile
If you are new to my blog please don’t be afraid of the Dall Sheep on my header.  He is behind a fence at the game farm and I think that his “you look mighty tasty” approach is just his way of saying “hi”.  Please look around and enjoy yourself while you are here.
I’m not going to dally around much as I think I am a bit late getting my blog posted.  It was supposed to be up by noon EST and it is 9:32 where I live in PST.  So doing the math….
Here is what I’m giving away today.  Two half yards of pretty batiks in colours that make you want to eat them – or something.
IMG_4336
You must be a follower of my blog to enter the giveaway and it is open to anyone in the world. Please leave me one comment letting me know you are a follower.  In the same comment please tell me where you live and one reason why you like living there.  The giveaway will close on December 17th at 6 p.m. my time.  More math for you…..
Thank you so much for coming by.  Please check out the Quilting Gallery link to see a list of all the participants in the Blog Hop Party.

  7. Hi Janet!
I live in Northwestern Ontario. We are 2 hr drive from Winnipeg! We like it here as it is a small city, lots of shopping and conveniences without the hassel of crowds!
Mind you, from May Long Weekend to Thanksgiving, the population increases by 45,000 summer residents! Then we have crowds and traffic!
All the best, take care, Leslie

  11. Hey, you are on the other side of the International date-line so I think you are following me! Now, what was that other question? Oh yes, something about why I like living here... Well, the public transportation in Tokyo is great, (if you don't mind how long it takes to get there and you love the feeling of closeness to your fellow man) I do LOVE my old-age pass that lets me ride certain trains and city buses for free.

I live on the northwest Florida coastline, which I love for sooo many reasons - The beach is breathtakingly beautiful with its white quartz sands and Caribbean colored water, and our town was just recently noted nationally as being the best town in all of the U.S. to raise a family in. The public schools are the best in the state, and homeschoolers also have a strong, vibrant community. We have been here for 15 years, and I will be very, very sad to leave it when the Air Force moves us next June!

  71. I am now a follower. This is so much fun, I'm meeting so many quilters. I live in OK. I would live elsewhere in the right circumstances, but half of my grandkids are here, so I'm not going any where. The other half are in CO, and that's too cold for me. Another bonus of Oklahoma is the nice people that live here. Plus, you can't beat the state for variety, from ice storms or blizzards, to blistering desert heat, we have every temperature you'd want at one time or another. We also like to experience multiple calamities, from earthquakes to tornadoes, sometimes both on the same day! See? Oklahoma adds spice to life. :) ~Nita

  119. This is my first attempt at following blogs. I live in southern California. I should say I love living here because of the weather...but I like winter. So I like it here because my husband lives here too.

  120. I'm a new follower :) I live in Pinedale, Wyoming, and I LOVE it here. We are in the gorgeous snow-capped mountains, have at least a dozen lakes we can get to within half an hour (several within 10 minutes) and have lots of outdoor space to run free and play! Oh and we have lots of wild animals even within our town - moose, deer, elk, bear (the elk and bears don't usually come to town though).

  121. I'm a follower now! I live in western Washington - previously in the far north, and now in the far south - and the thing I like most about it is that you can be anywhere within about two hours. Beach? Check. Skiing? Check. Big city? Check. State park? Check. Canada? Well, it's easier when you live an hour from the border, but...
Thanks for the opportunity to win! :)
