Teddy Bear Picnic

An entry for Melody's Teddy Bear Picnic.  Raggedy Ann was made by me 30 years ago for one of the DD’s (there are dissenting views as to which Raggedy Ann belongs to which daughter now). Pinky was made by DD # 3 when she was 4 or 5.  She made a couple of dolls – totally as a surprise for me.  She didn’t ask for permission, help or guidance.

These dolls are picnicing inside today as it is snowy and blowy outside.

  4. Hi Janet, Thank you so much for coming on the picnic today. Raggedy Anne and her dolly are lovely, my boys had Andys when they were little. Pinky is really special and one to be really treasured.

  5. Great day for the dolls to have a picnic. March 3rd is "Hina Matsuri" or the dolls festival. My dolls celebrated too.

  6. If the snowy caribou is anything to go by no wonder you are picnicing inside today. My daughter loved Raggedy Ann and she still has hers. She's 34 now. She got her Raggedy Ann when she went to hospital to have her tonsils out and Raggie as she is known by has never left. Lovely story. Thanks for sharing.
